Danielle's Dance Academy - Company Message


Danielle's Dance Academy offers instruction in tap, jazz, ballet,  lyrical, hip hop, technique, and pointe. For ages 3-18.


Tap

Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion.

Jazz

Jazz dance is a classification shared by a broad range of dance styles. Before the 1950s, jazz dance referred to dance styles that originated from African American vernacular dance

Ballet

Ballet is a type of performance dance that originated in the Italian Renaissance courts of the 15th century and later developed into a concert dance form in France and Russia. It has since become a widespread, highly technical form of dance.



Lyrical

Lyrical dance is a style of dance  created from the fusion of ballet  with jazz  and contemporary  dance techniques.






Hip Hop

Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture.


Technique

Technique is designed to study and execute skills that are taught in dance.


Pointe

Pointe technique is the part of classical ballet technique that concerns pointe work, in which a ballet dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet.




Our mission is to ensure that each student receives a positive experience through dance. We strive to provide each student with a strong foundation in dance by offering classes that are technical, exciting and fun, as well as enriching to a dancers training.
